Who looks after your information

What we collect, and why

• When you send a message or ask for a quote: your name, your email, and what you wrote. We use it to answer you.
• When you place an order: your name, your email, your address, your phone if you give it, and what you bought. We use it to make your order, to ship it, and to keep the records the law asks for.
• With an order, the shop also saves the internet address and the browser the order came from. This helps stop fraud.
• When you make an account: your sign-in name and a coded form of your password, so you can see your orders.

When you pay, a payment company handles your card. We do not see or keep your full card number.

To stop spam, the site counts how many messages come from one place in an hour. It does not save the address itself.

We collect only what we need. We do not sell your information.

Who else sees it

We share only what each one needs to do its job:

• the payment company, to take your payment
• the carrier, to bring your parcel
• the company that hosts this website

Some of these may keep information outside Canada. There, the courts and police of that country can ask for it under their own laws.

Cookies

Cookies are small files your browser keeps. This site uses them to:

• remember your cart
• keep you signed in
• note how you found us: the site you came from, any campaign tag in the link, your device type, and the pages you viewed. If you order, that note is saved with your order.

This site has no ad trackers.

Saved in your browser

The site saves two choices in your browser: light or dark, and motion on or off. They stay on your device.

Fonts

The fonts on this site are served from this site. Your browser does not ask another company for them.

How long we keep it

We keep order records as long as tax law asks us to. We keep messages as long as we need them to answer you and to keep a record of what we agreed. Then we delete them, or take your name off them.

How we keep it safe

This site uses a secure connection. Only the owner signs in to see orders and messages.

If your information is ever lost or taken, and there is a real risk of serious harm to you, we tell you as soon as we can. We tell the privacy regulator too.

Your choices

• You can ask what we hold about you.
• You can ask us to fix it if it is wrong.
• You can ask us to delete it. We will, unless the law makes us keep it.
• You can take back your consent.

Write to hello@borderlessprints3d.com. We answer within 30 days. It is free.

If you are not happy with our answer, you can write to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Email

We email you about your order or your quote. We do not send ads or news unless you ask for them.

Children

You must be 14 or older to order from this shop or to send us a message. We do not knowingly collect information from younger children. If you think a child has sent us information, tell us and we delete it.

Changes

If we change this page, we change the date below.
